The Upper Coos Recreational Rail Trail parallels the wild and scenic Connecticut River, which divides New Hampshire and Vermont. The trail begins in Colebrook and travels north to Beecher Falls, Vermont near the Canadian border. Because of the trail's scenic views and level surface, it is highly enjoyable for walkers; however, the trail is also frequented by bikers, ATVs, snowmobiles, mushers, and horseback riders. All users should be mindful to share the trail.
Trail conditions change often due to weather or maintenance schedules. Before you head out, click here for up-to-date conditions and closure information.
