Please keep your pets on leash and clean up after them.

VT Dept. Forests, Parks & Recreation Region 2: Rutland RegionFrom VT-4 west of Rutland, take Exit 5 toward Hubbardton Battlefield. Travel about 6 miles to St. John Road, on your left. If you come to the Hubbardton Battlefield, you've gone too far! Turn left on St John Road. The State Park entrance will be 0.2 miles farther on your left. Continue down the driveway to the parking area just above the house and kiosk. The lot is not plowed in the winter.
It is mud season in Vermont. Even if a trail is marked as open, pay attention to trail conditions. If you encounter mud or ice, turn around. Come back once the trail has had time to dry out.
One or more trails in this system is currently closed due to muddy or wet conditions. Please help to protect our trails by not walking on them when they are soft and easily damaged. Learn more.
If any trails are open, they will be listed on the Details tab.
