Description

The Wanderer Trail begins on the far northwest side of the resort on Lower Wanderer, then to Lower & Upper West Meadow then on to Mike's Way. It includes a combination of wooded trails, mowed surface and gravel work roads. The Lower Wanderer segment offers options of hiking the open trail or venturing into the Moonbeam Trail en route to Lower West Meadow and its picturesque views. The final ascent meanders toward the summit along Mike's Way.

The Stratton Ridge Trail starts at the summit of North Stratton Mountain where the Wanderer Trail ends. It leave from behind the Gondola ski lift station, following Mike’s Way ski trail for approximately 100 feet, before turning left into the woods and proceeding along the ridge. The trail then ascends slightly to the summit clearing of Stratton Mountain, where it meets up with the Long Trail, 0.7 miles from the summit of North Stratton Mountain.
