Description

From the parking lot, the trail climbs under the Snows Mountain chairlift. Halfway up, a sign marks the entry to the woods on the right. Make sure to follow the yellow blazes carefully as the trail passes intersections with other trails, which can be confusing. The true summit of Snows Mountain is trail-less, but there are views of Waterville Valley from the lookouts.

Descend past a great view of the village of Waterville Valley and on to the trail exit in the driveway of #76 on Snows Mountain Road. To return to the parking lot, walk down the paved road then turn right on the Boulder Path Road sidewalk past the tennis courts back to the parking lot.

Side trip to Greeley Ledges - 0.4 mile round trip
Seven tenths of a mile from the parking lot, turn left on the Greeley Ledges Trail and follow it to the top of the Snows Mountain chairlift (summer/fall) which offers marvelous views, disc golf, picnic tables, church services, and mountain bike shuttle service.

Trail Tips

Travel on Durable Surfaces
If your bike tires make an indent on the trail surface, it is too wet to ride. Come back when the trails have dried out.
