Description

The Rocky Gorge Scenic Area is a popular wayside stop along the Kancamagus Highway that offers an accessible trail experience to the Rocky Gorge Waterfall. Beyond the waterfall, the Lovequist Loop travels 0.7 miles around Falls Pond. In winter, the Lovequist Loop serves as an access point for the Nanamocomuck Ski Trail. The Scenic Area has public restrooms and a picnic area along the Swift River.

Trailhead Information

From Conway Village, take the Kancamagus Highway (NH-112) west for 9.6 miles, then turn right for the Rocky Gorge Scenic Area parking.
