Description

The River Park walking trails loop through the fields and floodplain forest of River Park. There are views of the Connecticut River as well as surrounding area. 

Other Information

Please abide by the Be Nice, Be Neighborly rules of River Park.

  1. No Vehicles Beyond Entrance: Parking is available along Route 10. No motorized vehicles may continue any further onto the property without permission.

  2. Leave No Trace, Take It With You: Anything you bring on your visit must go home with you. Trash cans are not provided and littering is strictly prohibited. 

  3. Dogs Must Be Leashed, Pick Up After Your Pets: Dogs must be leashed and under owner’s control at all times. Bag and take waste with you. It is common courtesy to keep the area clean for others and prevent the spread of disease.

  4. No Weapons, No Hunting: For everyone’s safety no weapons of any kind are allowed. 

  5. Closed Dusk to Dawn, No Camping: Trail and River access is available from Dawn until Dusk. Camping is strictly prohibited. 

  6. No Smoking, No Fires: Fires of any kind (campfires, charcoal grills, fireworks, etc.) are strictly prohibited. River Park is a Smoke-Free Property.

Plan Ahead and Prepare
Avoid hypothermia, even in warm weather, by limiting your sweat and exposure to cold water. Bring warm and dry clothes in case the shivers set in.

Trailhead Information

Parking for the River Park is along NH-10, 0.4 miles north of the intersection with Bridge Street. There are signed spaces along the west shoulder of the highway.
