These trails are student maintained hiking routes on the property of Mascoma Valley Regional High School. They were built to be used as a resource for the high school's Outdoor Pursuits physical education class. Students participate in four season hiking, cross-country running, cross-country skiing, orienteering, Leave No Trace, and group challenge units on these trails. Local Boy Scout troops also hold winter expositions and other learning opportunities on the trails.
Riverwalk Trail follows the Mascoma River out to NH Fish and Game managed land.
Traverse Trail wanders through the woods along the perimeter of the middle school fields and parking lot.
The Cross-Country Trail loops out into the woods and back to its own start, or a spur trail can be followed into the NH Fish and Game managed land.
The New Trail is a work in progress. Follow bright pink flagging tape to extend the trail system another 0.3 miles and rejoin the high school football field after passing a vernal pool.
