The Littleton Riverwalk connects two interested bridges over the Ammonoosuc River to make a loop near downtown Littleton. The trail starts on the south side of the river as a 4+ foot wide compacted gravel pathway. It passes a bench and community art spaces as it follows the river. After about a third of a mile, the trail either branches to the left to meet Riverside Drive or turns right to cross the Curran Suspension Bridge. The suspension bridge may be difficult for some strollers and wheelchairs. On the north side of the river, the path joins a paved walkway along Saranac Street. Turn right to follow the pathway and then sidewalks to either access the shops on Main Street or continue along Ammonoosuc and Mill Streets. Stop by and make some music on the instruments at the park along the way! Cross the pedestrian covered bridge to return to the parking areas.
