The Kingdom Trails Association (KTA) grooms over 28 miles of their mountain bike trails for fat bike adventures in the winter. The groomed trails are generally in the White School and South Darling Ridge sections of the network and are accessible from East Burke and Darling Ridge. The many single and double track trails can loop together for multiple trail experiences through the snowy woods.
The Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST) allows fat bikes on the snowmobile trails in the vicinity of the groomed fat bike trails. Please do not ride on the snowmobile trails beyond the areas allowed. When on the snowmobile trails within the network, please stay far to the right, ride in single file, use caution and lights when riding at night, and be friendly and courteous to passing snowmobilers.
To learn more, and access PDF and paper maps of the network, visit Kingdom Trails online or at their welcome center at 44 Belden Hill Road in East Burke.
Kingdom Trails relies on the generosity of 104 landowners who allow trails on their private property. Please respect these generous landowners and abide by all trail use policies and riding with gratitude.
Purchase a daily, monthly or annual KTA membership to access these trails. Memberships can be purchased online or at the welcome center.
Trail Rules
Please do not ride on the trails if:

Please note that this posting describes the trails that the KTA grooms for fat biking and does not describe their full network. We also have postings for KTA's summer trails and nordic ski trails. You can also learn more about the organization at their website.
