The Jolly Rand Scenic Trail is a historic cart path that can be found on the 1802 Phineas Merrill map of the Stratham/Exeter area. Though abandoned as a roadway, the Town officially designated it as a scenic trail in 2005. This well marked and easy to follow trail traverses mixed forests and makes a great north-south cross town connection between Brentwood and Pickpocket Roads.
The trail connects to additional trails within the Kimball Reserve managed by Southeast Land Trust (see Connector Trails on the bottom of the Trail Map page) and several loop trails within the Riverwoods property that are open for passive public recreation.
