The summit of Mount Pemigewasset (2,557') can be reached by two trails, Mount Pemigewasset Trail, which starts from the Flume Visitor Center, and the Indian Head Trail, which starts from a small parking lot south of Indian Head Resort. Both trails climb moderately, with some steep sections, for just under 2 miles to the summit. The summit and summit ledges provide fine views of Franconia Notch to the northeast.
