The trail network is made up of interconnected loops of approximately 2 miles total. Entrance to the trails is behind the playing fields and is blazed with paw print trail markers.
Signage along the trails indicate sites such as Pine Knoll, Frog Hollow, Garden Rock and Hemlock Grove. The trails are packed dirt with occasional roots, rocks and pebbles. There are inclines/declines at various points along the trails. Furthest from the school, the bridges at stream crossings are rickety.
Entering from the soccer fields, the trail proceeds straight along a small stream up to a series of clearings used as outdoor classrooms (Pine Knoll). The trail divides here. Bearing to the left of the classroom, the trail meanders through the woods to exit onto the school fields, furthest west of the school buildings near the community garden. To the right from Pine Knoll, the trail proceeds to an intersection with the longer back loop. This is marked at Frog Hollow. The longer loop heads off to the left from Frog Hollow with a climb up to its highest point where a stone wall is visible. This longer loop trail eventually heads downhill/west back to the Pine Knoll.
Hemlock Grove is a pleasant forest glade that is near the exit from the network near the utility shed. A trail also proceed wests from Hemlock Grove then heads back to the starting point near the soccer fields.
