Description

Located near the southeastern tip of Mallet's Bay, this wide, relatively flat path travels from Bayside Park to Colchester Village. It connects up many Colchester neighborhoods and schools with paved trails and bike lanes on quiet streets, as well as to mountain bike trails behind Colchester High School. Its paved, 10 foot wide surface is suitable for walkers of all abilities, bikes, strollers, wheelchairs, and those with mobility challenges.

Other Information

The portion of Bayside Park on the opposite (north) side of Blakely Road has a beach and associated facilities.

Trailhead Information

For the trailhead at Bayside Park, take Exit 16 on I-89 to US-7 North, the turn left on VT-127 (Blakely Road) at Severance Corners. Go 2.5 miles to Bayside Park. The Park is on both side of the road; the parking lot for the bike path trailhead is on the left.
