Follow trail across various brook/creek crossings.  At 0.7 miles, reach larger brook where trail turns right from the woods road, crosses brook and climbs steeply up west bank to join another woods road. At 1.3 miles enter Green Mountain National Forest. Entering an evergreen forest the woods road gives way to a trail and climbs to a junction just south of the  Blue Ridge Mountain summit at 3278 feet. Follow either spur at the top for great views.
