Battery Park boasts lake views from atop a bluff overlooking Burlington Bay. Historic signs, statues, and cannons dot the park and tell stories of the rich local history of this land. In the middle of the upper park is a stage often used for concerts and in summer a food truck can be found on Sherman Street. Marble sculptures and flowers grace the sides of the path down Battery Park Extension, which connects the park to College Street. All park paths are paved.

Find limited parking on Sherman Street on the north side of the park, or park in the Lakeview Garage on Cherry Street east of Battery Street, or in the College Street Garage accessed from Battery Street or College Street. Fees may apply to park in the city's parking garages.
