After a tough winter sans indoor dining, RWB has opened its doors again to customers, and provides indoor and outdoor seating options. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, RWB has also offered an outdoor takeout window to anyone wishing not to come inside, as well as order-ahead and contactless pickup. The RWB staff if always happy to make accommodations however we can in service of the customer's comfort level.
Red Wagon Bakery is entering its third year of business having just received word of their second consecutive "Best Bakery" win for their region, voted in "Best of NH" by New Hampshire Magazine.
RWB boasts a varied menu of breakfast, lunch, and bakery items, as well as coffee, espresso, smoothies, and daily specials. Come inside their quaint, cozy dining room to view the bakery case, which offers between 20-30 rotating staple and specialty baked goods made in-house daily by owner Nellie Smith, her mother Laura, and their collaborative partner Jen Tetreault.
RWB prides itself on sustaining locally-grown vegetables and sourced products whenever possible. They support fellow Canaan merchants and cooperate in a compost program with their local CSA provider, Open Woods Farm. Nellie and Laura's menu includes flavors from far and wide; Nellie enjoys incorporating varied and unusual flavors with tried-and-true down-home recipes. Big tastes meets small town. Whatever your style, the RWB menu does not disappoint.
