Although known best for its swimming area, White Lake State Park also features a gentle trail that circumnavigates the lake. The 2-mile Around The Lake Trail begins from the main beach area and heads in either direction around the shore edge. From the beach, the trail is poorly marked and initially follows paved paths; when in doubt, follow the route closest to the water's edge, and the trail will soon turn to singletrack along the shore.
Fees: Adults: $5; Children (6-11): $2
Reservations: Visitors should make a reservation before arriving at the park as parking is limited (especially on nice weekends and holidays). Walk-in spaces are available for visitors on a first come/first-serve basis. Reservations can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival.
