Description

Rainbow Falls Trail (0.6 miles, red blazes) - This trail leads from the trailhead and parking area on Texas Hill Road to the Ruth Walter and Newton Trails. The trail is steep in sections.

Henry's Trail (0.6 miles, orange blazes) - Trail heads to the right from trailhead at Texas Hill Road.  Trail is mostly downhill to connection with Ruth Walter Trail.

Ruth Walter Trail (0.6 miles, yellow blazes) - This easy, flat trail leads from the trailhead on Cummings Hill Rd. to the Rainbow Falls Trail.

Newton Trail (0.9 miles, yellow blazes) - The trail crosses a small stream and multiple drainages/stone structures. The trail leads from the trailhead on Cummings Hill Rd. to Rainbow Falls.

Glove Hollow Brook Trail (0.6 miles, blue blazes) - Thes trail meanders along a stream and leads to Rainbow Falls from the Fauver East Trail.

 

Other Information

There are ski trails (not shown on map) that run between and criss-cross Henry's Trail and Rainbow Falls Trail.  Please do not hike on ski trails when snow is present.

Horses, bicycles, and motorized vehicles are not allowed on designated trails.

Dogs should be under control at all times -- please remove dog waste!

Trailhead Information

From Interstate 93, take exit 24 for US-3/NH 25 toward Ashland/Holderness. Head West/North on NH-25/US-3 and travel approximately 5.7 miles then turn left onto Warren St. Follow Warren St approximately 0.2 miles to continue straight onto Texas Hill Rd. Continue on Texas Hill Rd. until you come to a wooden sign on left for "Walter-Newton Easement"
