To get to Square Ledge, follow the Lost Pond / Appalachian Trail east from NH-16. The trail starts as a boardwalk and there is a viewing platform at the outlet of a marshy area. After less than a tenth of a mile, the Square Ledge Trail diverges to the left. Climb the Square Ledge trail for 0.4 miles to the viewpoint. The last section, which is the steepest, requires some scrambling over boulders.
