A small network of trails loop through the fields and forests in Sentinel Rock State Park. To get to Sentinel Rock, a large glacial erratic, park at the parking area farthest east on Hinton Hill East, just after the intersection to Coles Road. From the parking area, there is an accessible trail both to the rock and to great views from the grassy knoll above the rock. The trail is 4+ feet wide with a gravel surface, which has small-sized stones, but is loose in some areas.
Trails through the fields connect the Sentinel Rock Accessible Trail to the old homestead, to a loop through the forest and to the other two parking areas.
Please note that dogs must be on leash per the town of Westmore ordinance.
