Description

The Livermore Falls Trail is a well graded forest road that provides access to a beach and picnic area below Livermore Falls. From the parking area and trailhead, the trail heads steeply downhill, then quickly flattens out onto the floodplain. After 0.1 miles trail gets to the public beach and picnic area. The trail continues past the beach for another 0.1 miles before ending into the woods.

Hours: Gates close at 6:30pm. Facilities closed September - Springtime (TBD)

Fees: $5 per vehicle. Free admission for residents 65 and over.

Parks Plate & Season Pass: There are designated spaces set aside for plate/pass holders on a first-come/first-serve basis. Reservations are still encouraged in the event a park reaches capacity (requiring a $1 transaction fee)

Reservations: Visitors can make a reservation before arriving at the park as parking is limited (especially on nice weekends and holidays). Walk-in spaces are available for visitors on a first come/first-serve basis. Reservations can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival.

Pack it in, pack it out. This goes for trash, leftover food, toilet paper, and hygiene products. If you brought it into nature, please bring it out.

Trailhead Information

From Interstate I-93, take exit 25 for NH-175 in Plymouth. Head east on NH-175A for 0.2 miles to NH-175 then turn left. Go north 1.8 miles on NH-175, then turn left onto Livermore Road. In 200 feet, turn left for the State Forest parking area.
