The 1.2 mile Loop Trail at the Leita Monroe Lucas Preserve is located at the foot of the Green Hills in Conway, New Hampshire. The trailhead and parking lot, owned and maintained by the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust, is located just south of the Conway/Chatham town line. From the parking lot, the trail climbs 0.1 miles to the beginning of the 1 mile loop. Along the loop, the trail passes the historic 19th century Hill homestead and the historic Dewing cottage site, once home of famous 20th century Impressionist painters Maria Oakey Dewing and Thomas Wilmer Dewing. Interpretive signs, historic relics, and a picnic table welcome visitors to stop and enjoy the area along the way.
