Description

Hypertherm Trails are located on property owned by Hypertherm Inc. and are being generously made available for public use.

Please show respect for this trail system so that it will stay open as a wonderful public trail resource. Please do not alter any of these trails without consulting the trail manager.

There are three main loops and one crossover trail:

  • Orange Loop is approximately 0.8 miles long, signed and easy to follow
  • Green Loop is approximately 1.1 mile long, unmarked
  • Blue Loop is approximately 0.4 miles long, unmarked
  • Purple Crossover is approximately 0.4 miles long, unmarked

All the trails traverse a rolling landscape where you'll find yourself amongst massive boulders, moss-covered rocks, next to rock walls, and overlooking streams and wetland meadows. Unmarked loops are more difficult to navigate and a GPS or compass may be needed to assist in navigation back to the trailhead.

Trail Tips

Leave What You Find
Leave the trail work to the pros: they will add or remove blazes, cairns (stone trail markers), structures, and trail improvements as deemed necessary.

Trailhead Information

From Route 120 north towards Hanover, turn right onto Greensboro Road and continue until you reach a "T" intersection, stay right onto Great Hollow Road. In 0.4 miles turn right into the Hypertherm driveway continuing past the main building to the uppermost parking lot. Please do not park on the basketball court. The trailhead begins at the top of the driveway just right of the basketball court.

The trails can also be accessed from the parking lot at 9 Great Hollow Road and through Farr Field.
