The 0.3 mile trail leads down in elevation from the trailhead to the river, offering relatively easy trail to the Falls. The first part of the trail is relatively flat. Once the trail parallels the falls, there are roots and log steps (almost ladders) to navigate. At this point, the trail becomes steeper to the base of the falls where there is a view of the gorge and waterfall.
