Church Pond is a mountain pond near the Swift River in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. Accessed from the Passaconaway Campground off of the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, the Church Pond Trail crosses the Swift River and travels 1.5 miles along boardwalks and through wetlands to Church Pond. Hikers return the same way back to the campground for a 3 mile out-and-back hike.
Please note that there is no bridge at the crossing of the Swift River. Hikers must ford the river, which is usually between ankle and knee deep.
