Bolton's 100 kilometer Nordic trail systems offers trails for skiers of all abilities, with views as stunning as the snow is amazing! There are 35 km of machine-tracked trails for classic and skate skiing, and the trails are open to snowshoe enthusiasts of all levels. There are many kilometers of back-country skiing too.
The trail network connects to the Catamount Trail and the Bolton-Trapps trail, in the northeast corner. The Catamount trail enters the map at the southwest corner as well. To the east, Cotton Brook Area trails lead to Waterbury Reservoir. The Long Trail passes through Bolton too. Anyone accessing the groomed trails or the Catamount Trail, the Bolton/Trapps Trail, or Cotton Brook in winter must purchase a trail pass from Bolton.
Visit the Bolton Valley website for more information.
Most trails are for seasonal use (snow activities only). Hiking is allowed in the summer months on Broadway and Bryant Trails.
Guided tours, lessons and rental equipment are available at the Nordic Center. Check out the Bolton Valley website for daily trail updates and tour suggestions.
